A commitment to empowering families with special needs
We envision communities where inclusion is not just a concept but a lived reality. Through empowerment, education, and advocacy, we strive to create pathways to independence and self-discovery.

Our Story
I remember the day I was almost arrested for having a daughter with Autism. When Mia was diagnosed, Autism was an uncommon term, under the umbrella diagnosis of “PDD-NOS” (Pervasive Development Disorder – Not Otherwise Specified). Since her diagnosis, I have navigated a world that did not understand her and made me fight for my basic parental rights and the resources to support her.
I ended my career as a social worker and channeled my full-time efforts to learn strategies to work around her disability. On my journey, I have met countless caregivers who emotionally, financially, and situationally struggle to navigate the path to providing the best resources for their children.
Over the course of almost two decades, I have collected the resources that make me an effective special education teacher, counselor, and mother to Mia. My oldest daughter, Rebecca, has dedicated her career to pioneering new social-skills interventions for individuals with disabilities. Together, we have worked with hundreds of caregivers, teachers, and researchers across the nation to develop solutions, education, and support for the needs of individuals with disabilities and their families.
We have been given a gift out of our hardships, and we will use it to serve our community.
